I have been
playing music for 22 years and performing professionally since 1994, as both
an ensemble player and soloist. I began playing the piano at the age of five,
naturally progressing to the harp as the daughter of a classical harpist.
I have benefited from the expertise of many amazing teachers, including my mother,
Anne Paus; Joan Raeburn Holland; Alice Chalifoux; and Ann Hobson Pilot. I graduated
from Interlochen Arts Academy and have a degree in comparative literature from
the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
The harp
I play a Lyon and Healy style 25 Concert Grand. This is a classical pedal harp,
typical of what you would see in a symphony. I also have a Webster folk harp
for less formal events.
